I didn't really want to know the details. [Mar. 23rd, 2007|02:53 pm]

Earlier today I was stopped in the middle of the street at Kenmore Square by two people who wanted know if I was interested in taking part in a photo shoot for Maxim magazine. I believe their exact words were, "C'mon, you'd be perfect".

I now wish I had responded with either:

"Will this involve chicken grease being slathered all over my buttocks, and if so, how much?"

Or:

"I don't know that you've noticed, but [hushed whisper]I don't have a vagina[/hushed whisper]."

I'll probably spend the rest of the day now thinking up more just to amuse myself.

So my mom's back home. Hopping around on a crutch and a few stitches across the forehead, but she's alright. Thanks for everyone's kind words and all that.

Is vacation here yet? Because hell, man.

Oh look. Snow.

If I weren't stressed out of my Goddmaned mind this morning, that might actually make me smile.

Kate Walsh is hot.

I mean, really. Tall? Red hair? That voice? Hot. When she puts on that doctor's coat and starts kicking ass as Addison Montgomery? Delicious. When she played a lesbian police detective who wanted a piece of Carla Gugino on Karen Sisco? Super-deluxe hotness with syrup on top.

I am saying this because I was just watching Grey's Anatomy in what was my first real experience with HDTV. I was pretty certain that she was hot before. But now? Yeah. Yeah.

The entire technology is a bit daunting, honestly. When Philo Farnsworth devised of a method of displaying images via cathode ray tubes that would develop into modern television, I don't know that being able to see the reflections off Isaiah Washington's eyeballs was really a part of his vision. By which I mean that it kind of freaks me out a little, but in a good way. I want to say that the picture looks better than real life, but I'm preeeety sure that doesn't actually make sense.

Then again it's entirely possible that I'm saying all of this to take my mind off the fact that last night my mother was hit by a car and is now breathing out of a tube. I have been assured that this sounds much worse than it actually is. I would argue that it pretty much has to be.

This afternoon I made an pivotial decision regarding the course of my future.

Namely, that my new life's goal is to date Nigella Lawson.

So, yeah. I'll let you know how that goes.
